Before coffee, my story really began with bees. My family runs Low Ridge Honey, a small, hardworking honey operation that shaped so much of who I am. Growing up, I spent countless hours helping harvest honey—pulling frames, extracting, bottling, labeling, and doing all the sticky jobs in between. It taught me patience, care, and just how much heart goes into creating something local and meaningful.

As I got older, I started experimenting with ways to use our honey and beeswax beyond the jar. I made skin and beauty products, created dog treats, and even crafted jewelry inspired by the natural textures and colors I loved. What started as fun side projects slowly grew into a passion for making things by hand and sharing them with our community.​

Those roots are what eventually inspired Local Buzz Coffee House.

I wanted to create a space that carried that same spirit—homemade, thoughtful, welcoming, and connected to the people around us. Local Buzz gives me the chance to blend creativity with comfort, and to serve drinks and food with the same intention my family poured into every drop of honey.​
